  Lagar is a great local spot. Good food, great portions and good people. Service can occasionally be on the slower side, but the food makes up for it.

  If I could give it 3 1/2 stars, I would but I can't. Food is good. I asked for fried pork chops and they gave me grilled, not a deal breaker, but the pork chops were over cooked. I have eaten here before and it was good. I need to go back and hopefully, move it up to 4 stars!
  
  My biggest issue was this; The bartender played a Bruce Springsteen album on her phone, song after song after song. We asked her if she could change the music or possibly turn the volume up on the tv since Monday football was on. The volume didn't go up much and she continued to play Bruce from her phone.

  Went to this location today and order a drink with my Gf and it was not to my liking and i asked the waitress to change it after only tasting the drink to realize it wasn't what I ordered. She went and got manager and he advised We would need to pay for that drink. I advised it was the incorrect drink and I never drank from it. The manager became irate and irrational and stated he would call the police. I've never felt so uncomfortable and afraid. He began to gather our belongs and requesting us to leave. I advised i had been kicked out of better places. I would never return to this location again the manager was so hostile and rude!

  My boss, co-worker, and I came her for our holiday dinner. We sat in the dining room side which was nicely decorated, toasty, and accompanied by wonderful fumes. The waiters are all very attentive and very kind. The food itself is pretty subpar Portuguese food. Nothing outstanding in flavor or preparation. I didn't care for the house fries at all, very dull in my opinion. However the olives were divine. The sangria, though tasty, lacked in alcohol presents. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was was actually shrimp alfredo, and it was pretty standard, nice creaminess and great salt and parsley presence. What I did enjoy best, was the portion size. If your taste are more picky or plain, I would recommend this restaurant to you.

  Rudest staffs ever! If you want to spend a lot of money with lots of attitude, then this is your place. Even trying to call to place over $100 dollar order, they would be completely rude to you. Save your money and trouble and eat somewhere else.
